Michael S. Ansari, Founder, Chairman and CEO of M.I.C. Industries bestowed title of Honorary Marine

Reston, Virginia - December 2, 2005 - M.I.C. Industries, Inc., the sole manufacturer of the patented Ultimate Building Machine® (UBM®) mobile factories in the world, today announced that its Founder, Chairman and CEO Michael S. Ansari, was bestowed the title of Honorary Marine by the United States Marine Corps.

On October 31, 2005, in a private ceremony at the Marine Corps Headquarters, the Commandant of the Marine Corps, General Michael W. Hagee, in the presence of General Robert Magnus, the Assistant Commandant, and five other Marine generals, conferred the title of Honorary Marine (the only one given by the Commandant to date) for Mr. Ansari's long standing and unwavering support of the Marine Corps and Marines. In making the presentation, General Hagee cited numerous examples of Mr. Ansari's philanthropic work for Marine causes throughout the years, whenever and wherever there was need.

"I would like to personally thank you for your dedicated service to the Marine Corps. You are to be honored for your efforts to make the Marine Corps a more efficient and stronger force in readiness, and for preserving its rich heritage," said General Hagee in a statement.

"You have applied a lifetime of industrial, commercial, and entrepreneurial experience as a force multiplier for the Corps. M.I.C. Industries' software, engineering efforts, training, and technical support have positively impacted the morale, proficiency, and capabilities of tens of thousands of young men and women serving their country as Marines," said General Hagee. "Only a true visionary and a friend of the Corps could have foreseen what your organization could do for Marines serving our nation in every clime and place. You have ensured that the Marine Corps legacy will be made known to a broad cross section of the American public."

"Your altruistic work makes it possible for generations of Americans to experience the Marine Corps drama from 1775 through Operation Iraqi Freedom and on to future engagements. The Marine Corps story is inseparable from the American story and now your story has become one with the Marine Corps. The name Marine is a unique and honorable title that is respected the world over. It is a title that has to be earned, and is reserved for those like you, who have the character that embodies the spirit of our Corps," added General Hagee.

In accepting this very rare, prestigious, and coveted title, Mr. Ansari thanked General Hagee and said, "I will wear this badge of honor with the deepest sense of gratitude. I will cherish it for the rest of my life. And in this land of the free and home of the brave I am very very proud to be one of the very very few."
