M.I.C. Industries Board of Advisors Member General James L. Jones, Jr. USMC (Ret.) Appointed National Security Advisor

Reston, Virginia - January 16, 2009- M.I.C. Industries, Inc.  congratulates General James L. Jones, Jr.  USMC (Ret.) on his nomination as the United States National Security Advisor by President-elect Barack Obama.  General Jones has been a member of M.I.C. Industries’ Board of Advisors and the Chairman’s Inner Circle Board since his retirement as the Supreme Allied Commander Europe and Commander-in-Chief of the United States European Command, in March 2007.  M.I.C.’s  Founder, Chairman and CEO, Michael S. Ansari said, “As I congratulate and reflect over the departure of my dear friend and colleague from our Inner Circle Board, I cannot help but further express my enormous praise for President-elect Obama for his judgment. No one is more qualified in every respect for this most unique position than Gen. Jones at this time in the history of our great nation.”  General Jones will begin his new position after the Presidential Inauguration on January 20, 2009 and concurrently will leave M.I.C. Industries’ Board positions.
