Michael S. Ansari, Founder, Chairman and CEO of M.I.C. Industries is honored by Marine Corps – Law Enforcement Foundation

Reston, Virginia - May 12, 2006- M.I.C. Industries, Inc., the sole global manufacturer of the patented Ultimate Building Machine® (UBM®) mobile factories, today announced that its Founder, Chairman and CEO Michael S. Ansari, was presented with the Commandant’s Leadership Award from the Marine Corps – Law Enforcement Foundation, Inc.

The Award was presented by Mr. Gary E. Schweikert, Vice Chairman of the Marine Corps- Law Enforcement Foundation and General Michael W. Hagee, USMC -33 rd Commandant of the Marine Corps, during the Eleventh Annual Semper Fidelis Gala on April 7, 2006 in New York City. The Honorable Donald H. Rumsfeld, Secretary of Defense, and Mr. John L. Mack, Chairman & CEO, Morgan Stanley and Mrs. Christy Mack were also honored during the Gala. The Award recipients were honored for their overwhelming support of and commitment to the Marine Corps – Law Enforcement Foundation, Inc.

The Marine Corps – Law Enforcement Foundation, Inc. provides scholarships and bonds to children of Marines and federal law enforcement personnel who were killed or died while on active duty as well as scholarships for medical equipment or tutoring of mentally or physically challenged children of active duty Marines killed in the line of duty. Additionally, the foundation has supported 141 children of members of all Military branches and the Department of Defense who died in the Pentagon 9/11 attacks, 12 children from the space shuttle Columbia explosion, as well as 390 children from all branches of the U.S. military or coalition partners who were killed while on duty in Iraq and Afghanistan.

We can never do enough for the children who are emotionally or physically hurting. It becomes a duty when a parent of that child has been killed while serving his country and community.
