Announcement

M.I.C. Industries Board Member is nominated to be next
U.S. Secretary of Defense

Reston, Virginia – January 7, 2013 – M.I.C. Industries, Inc.

Senator Chuck Hagel has been nominated by President Barack Obama to become the 24th United States Secretary of Defense. Senator Hagel is currently M.I.C.’s Strategic Advisor to the Chairman, Michael Ansari, and is one of its Inner Circle Advisory Board members.

President Obama today announced his nomination of Chuck Hagel to his national security team at a White House press conference.

“Chuck Hagel’s leadership of our military would be historic,” he said. “He’d be the first person of enlisted rank to serve as Secretary of Defense, one of the few secretaries who have been wounded in war, and the first Vietnam veteran to lead the department.”
